Elizabeth Meister and Dan Collison are award-winning, independent radio artists who produce stories about people and communities in transition. Collison attended San Jose State University from 1973–76 and was Senior Producer and Editor of NPR’s All Things Considered. Meister received an MA from Northwestern University in 1992 and worked for NPR’s This American Life. In 1992, Collison founded Long Haul Productions, for which Meister serves as producer. Their productions focus on characters that tell their own stories, and combine the intensely personal with verité scenes and rich sounds.
