Gabriela Cruz, also known as Lady Paraiso, is a disabled trans woman who immigrated to the United States from Nicaragua at the age of two. Cruz is an actress, drag performer, activist, and role model to many young queen folx in the community. She is known for her effervescent, warm personality and eclectic performing style. She will light up any room she steps foot in. Cruz has performed at the ICA Miami, Wigwood, Counter Corner, Double Stubble, Kill Your Idol, Langford Hotel, Hôtel Gaythering, and Pride festivals in Miami Beach, Hialeah, and Wynwood.
