Bing Liu is a filmmaker best known for his 2018 feature documentary Minding the Gap, which was nominated for an Academy Award and an Emmy and won a Peabody. He was also a story director on America to Me, a watershed docu-series examining racial inequities in one of the nation's most diverse public high schools. He has a BA in Literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
