Design Within Reach Announces 20th Annual Champagne Chair Contest in Partnership with Champagne Pommery and United States Artists
United States Artists was proud to serve as nonprofit partner with Design Within Reach (DWR), the leading source for modern living, for its 20th annual Champagne Chair contest.

Design Within Reach (DWR), the leading source for modern living, is thrilled to announce the kick-off of its 20th annual Champagne Chair contest. Contest participants are invited to create miniature models of either a chair in DWR’s product assortment or an original design using only the foil, label, cap, cage and cork from no more than two champagne bottles.
This year, United States Artists was honored to be selected as DWR's nonprofit partner. For each contest entry, MillerKnoll Foundation donated $50 (up to $20,000 total) to United States Artists to support our work.

Using any or all materials (except glass, including cork, cage, foil, cap, and label) from no more than two bottles of champagne, sparkling wine, or sparkling cider from any brand, entrants designed and created chairs measuring no more than 4" x 4" x 4".
USA staff members Judilee Reed, CEO; Rachel Denny, Director of Advancement; Suzy Delvalle, Project Manager; Danielle Iwata, Executive Coordinator; Shivani Somaiya, Advancement Assistant joined DWR to raise a glass to Champagne Chair entrants and winners.
